On being a reflective practitioner

Workplace challenges typically come in waves. Some of them are more interesting than others. Most of them have happened before and will happen again. During the course of the last two weeks, I have been thinking about the book “The Reflective Practitioner: How Professionals Think In Action” by Donald Schon (1984). Apparently, I purchased the book from the University of Kansas bookstore in Lawrence, Kansas over a decade ago for $17.00. That turned out to be a pretty solid investment. The book has been pulled off the shelf a number of times over the years. This month it has been sitting on my desk.
