Thinking about Chromebooks

Buying a Chromebook might help me be more productive. That notion seems to be at the forefront of my thoughts these days. I’m probably going to end up buying a Chromebook at some point. This week is going to be interesting. A moment of clarity swept over me earlier today. I drafted a complete economic theory in about 20 minutes. It was sketched out long form in a notebook. It will probably take a week or two to translate the sketch of a theory into a full blown typed up paper. That is the type of work that needs to be done. It is good work.

It took me a long time to figure out what I truly love about listening to podcasts. Long form conversations have become increasingly rare. Production of television content has moved away from any lengthy conversations. Web content does not have any real constraints on content generation. Sports themed shows sometimes have conversations that last more than an hour. I watched a web series on YouTube where Conon O’Brien engaged in over an hour of “Serious Jibber-Jabber” with Jack White.

Yesterday, I purchased a couple of Eric Clapton records on eBay from 1974, 1975, and 1977. I missed out on the 1970 eponymous album Eric Clapton by 50 cents or so.  Buying records on eBay is pretty easy to accomplish, but you never really know what you are going to get.
